The facility includes 11 full and half size natural grass and artificial pitches, plus a half size covered indoor pitch, ensuring playing facilities are accessible and playable throughout the seasons. The distinctive Y-shaped building provides secure accommodation wings for the club's professional squads and academy youth teams, plus a separate wing for common recreation, medical treatment and media facilities and gymnasium. ADVANCED BEGINNER PRE-NOVICE Handler and dog work together to increase fluency of the basic commands learned the Beginner I Class under increased levels of distraction. This class is a prerequisite to the advanced competition classes, and provide the additional training needed to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test which is open to all breeds and mixed breeds. order to attend this class, you must have completed PDTC Beginner I or a similar class at another school. It is assumed that teams taking this class are already familiar with but have not yet mastered sit and down stays with distractions, basic heelwork, stand stay, recall to front, and the finish. The foundation of these skills is taught Beginner I. PLEASE NOTE: repetition of the Advanced Beginner class helps the handler and dog master the basics before moving on to the more advanced classes. NOVICE This class is for those who have completed the Pre-Novice class and wish to advance the sport of obedience. Novice obedience is the first level of competitive obedience. Novice, the dog have to heel both on off lead at different speeds, come when called, stay a sit and a down a group of dogs and stand for a simple physical exam by the judge. The dog can earn a CD or Companion Dog title. RALLY ADVANCED RALLY Rally offers both dogs and handlers an experiene that is energizing. Dogs handlers follow a course of signs that encourage teamwork through designated stations Rally provides a link from the Canine Good Citizen program to obedience or agility competition for dogs and handlers. addition, rally promotes fun and enjoyment for dogs at all levels of competition. Dogs can earn RN, RA, RE and titles. OPEN Building on the fundamentals learned the Novice class, participants teach their dogs the dumbbell retrieve. Open, the dog must do similar exercises as Novice, but all exercises are done off-lesh and the time periods are extended for the stays. Open obedience als requires that the dog retrieve on the flat and over a jump. The dog can earn a CDX or Companion Dog Excellent title. UTILITY is the final and most challenging level of obedience.
